/jp/ - Japan/General Otaku Culture 4chan imageboard.
The Japanese Culture board. Created by moot in late February during /a/day, the userbase consisted mostly of former /a/ssholes at first but has gradually drawn members from other parts of the board interested in Japan and its related subjects. Much like /tg/, despite the name /jp/ is a less chaotic version of /a/ with a heavy emphasis on Touhou and Japanese society(/jp/ is very intolerant to any thread related to Japan, not japanese content which almost all of /jp/s threads are composed of) VNs. Visual novels and figurines, which were exiled from /a/ are allowed here, though they're no more plentiful than they were originally. /jp/ posters usually refer to themselves as "/jp/edos".
/jp/ also has a themesong[1].
