The LURKMORE Wiki was created on 2006/04/19 as a method to log the history of 4chan, as well as any other topics that anyone wanted to add. The first article on the wiki was the memes article, which hasn't changed much since the day it was first saved.
Around the same time of the wiki's inception, Shii was getting nervous about having the FBI show up at his door in the party van, because of the set of imageboards that he was running called chanchan. A main feature of the site was a camgirl named Loli-chan. Due to Shii's concerns over ending up in prison, he decided to give chanchan away. The person to take up his call was the owner of the LURKMORE Wiki. The new chanchan was born, at http://www.lurkmore.com/chanchan/! As time went on, the memes on the original article were slowly moved into their own articles, as well as new memes being added to the original list, and everything was nice.
About a year after all of this started, chanchan became so large that it had to be moved to its own hosting. The wiki was also growing, and it needed all of the resources it could get. On 2007/03/07, chansluts was born. The directory on lurkmore.com was redirected to the new domain and everything was once again going great.
A few months after chansluts opened its doors, some camgirls started requesting a place for camboys to start posting. Male friends of some camgirls (Kandie's friends, for example), wanted somewhere to camwhore. After enough requests, new boards were made on chansluts for male camwhores. Once again, everything was swell. New girls were showing up daily and both girls and guys were camwhoring. Lolis were running rampant.
Everything was going extremely well! On 2008/08/12, barely more than a year after chansluts was created, a new site for men was spawned. Male General was made to help give the boys a place to feel special. chansluts was booming and this new male camwhoring site was a huge success the instant it was opened.
About a year after Male General was created, a new group of people were also feeling the need for more. chansluts had many a visitor displaying goods that didn't quite fit in with all of the other boards. It was decided, not more than 10 months after Male General gave the boys a place to post, that a new site would be opened. On 2009/06/08, cross dressers, traps, transgender and transsexual peoples found their home. TranCHAN opened its doors to the remaining group of camwhores. Boards that were originally on chansluts, like Half-chan's and Sasha's, were moved to TranCHAN, and general posting boards were also ready to go. As with Male General, TranCHAN became a huge success.
