Reich-chan began lurking in /b/ months before she ever posted pictures. For reasons beyond the understanding of mankind, there was much controversy about her real nationality once she posted in German on 4chan. She was at any point in time referred to as Commie-chan, German-chan, then eventually Reich-chan.

While titular, Reich's character as a quasi-Nazi is maintained by her fans (those whom are /b/tards at least) as a result of her personal appeal. The meme of the harsh and staccato speaking dominatrix is partially attributed to Reich as she has an interest in the 'high and tight' men of the uniformed SS, the elite of the armed forces for Nazi Germany. However insular it may seem, it is the emasculation of this "right man for the job" stereotype that makes the dominatrix appealing. And it is so that these qualities are attributed to Reich's character imparted by the fact that she speaks German and likes military paraphernalia.

It is obvious that Reich is quite talented at sketching and character design. And while a lot of fur art is disgusting, you can't be so harsh on Reich's drawings as the 'anthropomorphic' elements give the female form a provocative accent rather than being totally racy and having one question their perceptions.
