Site that you can upload files to, in order to share them with others. The original well known file sharing site was rapidshare.de. rapidshare.de ended up screwing everyone by shutting down randomly, this was around the time when competitors started appearing, and they were all better than RS at what they were doing. RapidShare, at the same time as shutting down their .de site, made rapidshare.com, which ended up being just as shit.
