[s4s] - Shit 4chan Says is a joke board on 4chan. It was started as an April Fools joke for /pol/, but it soon took a life of its own. The board has gone through many style changes, and prides its self in GETs. The board has also been renamed multiple times. moot nearly killed the board on accident by enabling /b/ IDs and removed the name field. For the longest while, the board was never listed in the main index on the site, making it a niche place for OC. During that time, the board had no rules. Posters could of technically posted CP and raid threads. One raid thread was posted. After some time, the board was added to the main index and rules were added. The rules originally stated that normal global rules were in affect, and all posters must check their privilege (that included mods). The rules now read all posters must check their #fortune. Yes, #fortune has been enabled on the board by asking moot nicely on /q/. [s4s] once had tripcodes, but they have been removed with out a reason given.

GETs

[s4s] prides itself on GETs. The community encourages the raiding of other boards to steal anything from quints and higher, all of which are documented on their wikia page, but scripting is extremely taboo. This culture has led to several names gaining notoriety among 4chan for their achievements.

Kekkats, often called a King of GETs clone and known to communicate often with the King of GETs.

Bruce Wayne, regular GET stealer and held regular threads warning users of upcoming GETs on other boards until moderation crackdown and banning making him a martyr to the cause.

OC and Spam Culture

On [s4s] OC is created regularly and is never discouraged no matter how poor the quality. Due to the constant creation of users pushing their next big meme, the board has created a spam culture. With lack of rules and moderators encouraging if not joining in themselves, the board has been spammed hundreds of times and always by it's own users. This atmosphere has made the board unable to be raided as noted by /b/ raids when the [s4s] users would join in on spamming.

Style Changes

The board originally looked like reddit, with faux up/downvote arrows. This was done because of what was happening over at /pol/. There are known mods who shitpost on [s4s]. A known mod who posts under the name "swaglord" will often mess with the font family and fuck up the board. Any content below the mod post is completely screwed up. Fonts that have been used so far are Impact, Papyrus, Veranda, and Comic Sans.
