The most popular image editing program, to the point that "photoshopping" or "shopping" has become another word for image editing in general. Image macros and other crap in /b/ are usually created with Photoshop, though Microsoft Paint (specifically the JPEG-capable Windows 2000/XP version) is often used as well; a common joke on /b/ is that a picture took "* hours in MS Paint" to "make". Thanks to the popularity of the SHOOP DA WHOOP meme, nowadays shops are occasionally referred to as "shoops."

This picture is shopped, I can tell from some of the pixels and from having seen quite a few shops in my life.

Ironic yet often true reply to photoshopped pictures, or pictures that have an unbelievable nature about them. Subject of a number of image macros featuring corporate-looking stock photos. Has been seen in combination with Admiral Ackbar as "This is a trap, I can tell...". This meme started when a poster asked for the name and style of the anime included in the obviously shopped picture that featured several young girls sitting around a table with a sign that said "stfu dyke". Someone replied with the line "This isn't a real anime! They aren't allowed to do this. This picture is shopped, I can tell from some of the pixels and from having seen quite a few animes in my life.". People thought it was funny and the line was used many times with one or more words changed but "This picture is shopped, I can tell from some of the pixels and from having seen quite a few shops in my life." was the only one that lived on, for reasons unknown.
