Deleting your own thread or post

You posted and now you want to get rid of it? See the checkbox beside your posts? Do you see that pretty box on the bottom right of the page labeled Delete Post? Use it.

If that doesn't work, email us. In your message, include the following in your title: [I fucked up, please berate me]. Include an apology for wasting our time, links to your posts, provide proof of who you are: some sort of ID, or a simple verisigned picture which includes a timestamp and "<3 chansluts" (or the name of whatever site you post on), or the IP address you used to make the post.

You really have to ask why it's important to report this? If you see this garbage on the site, get on IRC and inform us. Point out the threads in the channel. The slowest way to contact us would be email.

DMCA notices (content you own)

We're kind enough to delete pictures of you if you just send a verisigned picture with a normal request. Nothing else required. If you don't want to do such a simple thing, continue reading.

You must send a properly formatted DMCA notice with your contact information. We don't always send confirmation of receiving the notice or of removal. Include [DMCA] in the title of the email, otherwise it might not arrive.
